Abstract

In a period in which social isolation became strategic in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, many institutions had to revise their way of working, migrating to remote work. This also happened at public universities. In this scenario, this article presents an extension action that has among its objectives to publicize the work and give voice to women all over the country that are somehow involved with Science, Technology and Computing. Developed in a totally remote way, involving the collaboration of two partner projects of the Meninas Digitais Program, the action Women in Computing: from North to South included 9 online lectures given by women, having reached the target audience among the people who watched the action live.
