Analysis of the presence of students from UFRN's Computer Science courses

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the presence of female students in UFRN Computer Science undergraduate courses. Open data from this institution about incoming students were used for such analysis, so as data from research works and from INEP. As a result, the percentage of female students in analyzed courses are lower than male ones. Two courses present initiatives for reverting this context, however these actions are one-time, and do not have permanence.
