Abstract


This article presents reports regarding the extension project from Universidade Federal de Alagoas which is entitled: "Katie: saindo do buraco negro e impulsionando as meninas para a computação", which aims to motivate, support and promote the inclusion of women in the areas of Science, Technology, and Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The article describes how the project KATIE remained active during the period of pandemic caused by COVID19. For the activities to take place, online tools were used, such as social media and digital platforms to provide with the public an inclusion of topics related to Information Technology, in addition to being the subject of an article published in a national event in the area of communication.
