Colaboração de mulheres na computação: um estudo de caso no grupo Elas@Computação

Abstract

With the intention of bringing visibility and generating a support network for women in Computer Science, the Elas@Computacao group was created in 2017. However, despite all the work that the group carries out, the impacts are not analyzed, nor who are the women. participants. The objective of this work is to outline the profile of women who are part of this group. For this, a quantitative and descriptive study based on surveys was carried out, with the aim of extracting information about forms of participation and impact of the group. The results obtained showed that the group is important for generating an impact on its participants, mainly for providing a strong support network that brings security and confidence through representativeness.
