Abstract
This article presents an account of the experiences of a group of women who are joined the technology area seeking to occupy positions in this area. The objective of this paper is to present their personal experiences and which factors influenced and motivated the entry of these women in the area of Information Technology to foster the development of actions that attract and encourage more women to this field.
