The Proceedings of the 3rd Theory of Computation Meeting bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Natal, from July 22 to 26, as part of the 38th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2018), wich had the theme "Computing and Sustainability". In this issue, the proceedings include 40 papers. These papers were selected through a peer review, from a total of 45 papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 90%. The event's was coordinated by Cláudia Linhares Sales (UFC) and Rosiane de Freitas (UFAM), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 04/02/2018, accepted for publication on 04/27/2018, with the final version submitted on 05/07/2018.
