Abstract

Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) have contributed to analysts and software developers performing more productive and efficient work. However, the interface of these tools can be challenging for visual impairments, as the lack of adequate accessibility mechanisms can prevent them from utilizing many of the offered features. Therefore, this paper describes the methodology to be adopted for the development of Accessibility Guidelines for the construction of Software Development Environments accessible to visual impairments.
