Abstract

From the 1980s, it became possible to represent images through computational means, opening up a range of possibilities for artists in terms of creating and sharing their works. In addition to digital art, there is also interactive digital art, where users interact with the artwork. As part of the Deaf culture, there are various forms of artistic expressions that have distinct characteristics compared to other forms of art. To better understand these particularities of art in Deaf culture, qualitative interviews were conducted with this community. These interviews revealed a scarcity of interactive digital arts and installations tailored to the Deaf community. In light of this situation, this work proposes the creation of adaptations that guide experts in adapting interactive digital artworks, making them accessible to the Deaf community.
