Ontology meta-alignment using the predator-predator approach

Abstract


Every year, several new ontology matchers are proposed in the literature, each one using a different heuristic, which implies in different performances according to the characteristics of the ontologies. An ontology metamatcher consists of an algorithm that combines several approaches in order to obtain better results in different scenarios. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to define a criterion for the use of matchers. We presented in this work an ontology meta-matcher that combines several ontology matchers making use of the evolutionary meta-heuristic prey-predator as a means of parameterization of the same.
