GovDadosMB: A Data Governance Framework Corporate for the Brazilian Navy

Abstract

The increasing importance of data in supporting the decision-making process makes it essential to orchestrate data management activities, especially in corporate environments. Data Governance frameworks present guidelines that structure the execution of such activities, but require adaptation to the particular complexity of each corporate institution. This paper presents a comparative analysis between data governance frameworks. Based on the result of the analysis, this article proposes a framework adapted to the Navy, called GovDadosMB, with a focus on the interoperability of personnel management data.
