Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic had a global social and economic impact, including on the development of scientific research, due to measures of social distancing and the reduction of financial resources. Using data from the Lattes Platform, this work compares the academic production of Brazilian postgraduate students before, during and after the pandemic, analyzing the significant decrease in master's and doctorate completions. The results highlight the extent of the impact on academic trajectories, indicating the differential impact in specific areas of knowledge.
