Reconstrução Panorâmica Automática de Imagens Odontológicas a partir de Tomografia Computadorizada

Resumo


Imagens de tomografia computadorizada (TC) desempenham um papel fundamental em diagnósticos médicos e odontológicos. Em Odontologia, a reconstrução panorâmica a partir de TC é normalmente utilizada por possibilitar a visualização longitudinal da arcada dentária. Este artigo descreve um método para reconstrução automática de imagens panorâmicas da arcada dentária a partir de imagens odontológicas de tomografia computadorizada. Resultados experimentais demonstram a eficácia do método proposto.
