Investigating the relationship between Computational Thinking and digital and non-digital narratives

Abstract

Computational Thinking is a term that has been widely discussed in recent years, especially in the processes that involve its insertion in schools. The present work presents an exploratory research, with a quasi-experiment approach, carried out with an elementary school class where activities such as: creation of animations, writing activities and questionnaires were applied, to investigate the possible relationships established between the narrative process through creation of stories (digital and non-digital) and Computational Thinking. Preliminary results point to a field that needs to be explored.
