The Proceedings of the 26th Brazilian Symposium on Cybersecurity (SBSeg 2026) bring together the papers selected and presented at the edition of the event held from September 1–4, 2026, in Armação dos Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This edition of the proceedings includes 88 full papers (88/244 = 36.07% accepted) and 15 short papers (15/43 = 34.88% accepted). A total of 103 papers were accepted out of the 287 papers actually submitted to SBSeg 2026 (103/287 = 35.89%), from 319 submission records created in the submission system. These works were selected through a double-blind peer review process conducted in two phases, comprising review and meta-review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Edelberto Franco Silva (UFJF) and Cíntia Borges Margi (USP), who organized this volume together with Rodrigo Brandão Mansilha (UNIPAMPA), publications chair of SBSeg 2026. The articles in this volume were submitted on 05/28/2026, accepted for publication on 07/20/2026, with the final version submitted on 08/03/2026.
