The Proceedings of the 35th Integrated Software and Hardware Seminar (SEMISH 2008) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belém/PA, Brazil, from July 12 to 18, 2008, as part of the 28th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2008), which had the theme "Grand Challenges of Computing." In this issue, the proceedings include 06 full papers. These papers were selected through a peer review, from a total of 59 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 27.1%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Claudia Bauzer Medeiros (UNICAMP), who organized this volume.
