The Proceedings of the 8th Blockchain Workshop: Theory, Technology and Applications (WBlockchain 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Natal/RN, Brazil, from May 19-23, 2025, as part of the 43rd Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2025). In this issue, the proceedings include 16 papers. These papers were selected through a single-blind review, from a total of 34 papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 47%. This volume was organized by Jéferson Campos Nobre (UFRGS) and Luiz Rodrigues (UNIOESTE), workshop chairs, and by Nélio Cacho (UFRN), SBRC 2025 publications chair. The articles in this volume were submitted on 04/01/2025, and accepted for publication on 04/17/2025, with the final version submitted on 04/22/2025.
