An Automation proposal for the National Index of Simple Language Assessment in Public Services
Abstract
The digitization of services brings public entities closer to citizens and facilitates and optimizes their access to public policies through technology. Plain Language appears as a conductor in this path and a concern with the full understanding by the citizen is necessary. In this paper, we propose the first results of automation of simple language practices defined within the National Guide for Simple Language. The objective is to evaluate the explanation of digital public services and serve as a support mechanism for the inclusion of plain language by Brazilian municipalities.
