The Proceedings of the 25th Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and the Web (WebMedia 2019) bring the articles selected and presented at the edition of the event held in Rio de Janeiro, from October 29 to November 1, 2018. This edition includes 46 full papers and 33 short papers, selected from 120 full papers and 87 short papers submissions, with acceptance rates of 38.3% and 37.9%, respectively. Each submitted paper was assigned to at least three program committee members for review. The symposium committee adopted a double-blind review process to provide a fair selection from the submissions.
