FuscaMakers! Levando a cultura maker para a escola pública
Abstract
This study presents an empirical project for an opcional subject with a maker proposal on electronics to develop students' technological fluency. The proposal was developed for a class of 45 high school students, in a public school in the northern part of the capital of São Paulo. The main challenge was to design activities to a class with many students, in a school where there was no infrastructure, and resources were scarce. To meet these challenges we used active methodologies like blended learning and project based learning, introduced in support of digital and immersive technologies. The partial results showed that these methodologies allowed to meet the challenges that are commonly presented in public schools.
