Nos rumos da autonomia tecnológica – desafios e lições aprendidas para a formação de jovens
Abstract
The generation that some call "digital natives" can demonstrate a fluid relationship with the use of various devices. However, they tend to ignore how such devices work. The Jovem Hacker Project aims to investigate ways to assist in the education of a generation that can have a more autonomous relationship with technology. In this article, we report our first experiences in the context of the Jovem Hacker Project, based on a pilot using primarily Scratch as a programming language. We discuss lessons learned and challenges towards the technological empowerment of young people. Through further pilots, we hope to devise a model for youth training that will move beyond Scratch to more powerful languages and understanding of the workings of our technological society.References
