A learning experience on programming logic with Code.org in high school: a gender analysis about students perceptions
Abstract
Introducing programming for high school students can facilitate the learning process and the understanding about algorithms. This paper presents an experimentation using the Code.org platform with 28 high school students from state public network. The aim of the experience was to introduce them to programming logic and to arouse the students interest for Computer courses. The evaluation method applied was a questionnaire for evaluating digital games provided by MEEGA + model which evaluates the player's experience. A gender analysis was conducted on the evaluation results of the the Code.org.
