Análise do uso da arquitetura Seamless MPLS para suporte a redes convergentes de serviços móveis e fixos
Abstract
The fixed and mobile network service providers face an exponential increase of their network traffic. It is happening by the adoption of Internet access by their subscribers and also by the increased use of Smartphones and Tablets. This increase of utilization creates a challenge to the providers to search for new technologies to build their networks providing at same time scalability and low costs to allow a sustainable business model. This work analysis the use of Seamless MPLS architecture to support the converged fixed and mobile services of a network. It presents a case study of a fixed and mobile services operator and the benefits the Seamless MPLS architecture would bring to its network.
