Abstract

All human beings experience emotion. However a number of individuals have difficulties expressing, recognising, processing, and regulating their emotions, a condition known as Alexithymia. TEABot is a gamified application used for training and recognizing emotional facial expressions. The app employs artificial intelligence to identify the facial expression made by the user and customize their learning experience, providing a smarter and more playful approach to treating Alexithymia.
