The Proceedings of the 30th Workshop on Computing Education (WEI 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Niterói, RJ, Brazil, from July 31 to August 5, 2022, as part of the 42nd Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2022), whose theme was "Digital Empowerment: The Role of Computing in Building an Inclusive and Democratic Society". In this issue, the proceedings include 40 papers, which were selected through a double-blind peer review process, among 105 submissions, implying an acceptance rate of 38%. The event's Program Committee Chairs Sílvia Amélia Bim (UTFPR-CT) and Adenilso Simão (USP) organized this volume. The papers in this volume were submitted on 04/07/2022, and accepted for publication on 05/10/2022, having the final version submitted on 05/25/2022.
