Electronic Reflective Portfolio in the Educational Unit of Professional Practice in the Medicine Course at UFSCar
Abstract
The Medicine Course of Federal University of São Carlos employs a methodology centered on Problem Based Learning, and is structured in three educational units: Professional Practice Simulation, Professional Practice, and Electives. All the knowledge built by a student of this course is registered in his/her paper portfolio, which has drawbacks regarding its maintenance, access, and transport. In order to cope with these problems, an electronic portfolio was developed to initially support the activities of the simulation unit, and it was further extended to also support the activities of the practice unit. This extension is the main subject of this paper.References
