The Proceedings of the 10th Medical Informatics Workshop (WIM 2010) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, from July 20 to 23, 2010, as part of the 30th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2010) which had the theme "Green Computing: Scientific and Technological Challenges". In this issue, the proceedings include 27 full papers and 07 short papers. The event's program committee was coordinated by Taciana de Lemos Dias (PUC Minas), who organized this volume.
