Abstract

This paper describes an ongoing work on the usage of Haralick’s statistical attributes for the characterization of radiological patterns of diffuse lung diseases in High Resolution Computed Tomography. Initial results indicate that Haralick features have good potential to separate normal and abnormal radiological patterns, which suggests the applicability for detection and segmentation of suspect lung regions.
