The Proceedings of the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from November 4–7, 2025, in the city of São José dos Campos/SP, Brazil. In this edition, the proceedings comprise three tracks: the Technical Papers Track, the Experience Reports Track, and the Software Quality Education Track. In addition, the event includes the Software Quality Thesis and Dissertation Contest (CTDQS) and the Software Quality Scientific Initiation Contest (CTICQS). Altogether, the proceedings feature 55 full papers selected from 129 valid submissions. Of these, 26 were accepted in the Technical Papers Track, 16 in the Experience Reports Track, and 13 in the Software Quality Education Track. Additionally, 6 papers were accepted in the CTDQS—corresponding to three award-winning doctoral theses and three award-winning master’s dissertations—and 4 in the CTICQS—corresponding to three award-winning undergraduate research papers and one award-winning capstone project.
Papers submitted to the Technical Papers Track underwent a double-blind review process. Papers submitted to the Experience Reports Track and the Software Quality Education Track underwent either a double-blind or single-blind review process, at the discretion of the authors. Submissions to the CTDQS and CTICQS underwent a single-blind review process.
