The Proceedings of the 22nd Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Santa Maria/RS, from September 12-15, 2022. In this issue, the proceedings include 27 full papers and 04 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Alberto Egon Schaeffer Filho (UFRGS) and Daniel Batista (USP), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 06/20/2022 and accepted for publication on 08/01/2022.
