The Companion Proceedings of the 22nd Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Santa Maria/RS, from September 12-15, 2022. In this edition, the proceedings include 36 full papers distributed in four tracks: Thesis and Dissertation Competition (CTDSeg), Tools, Workshop of Digital Identity Management (WGID) and Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Undergraduate Works (WTICG). These papers were selected through a double-blind review. This volume was organized by Altair Olivo Santin (PUCPR) - coordinator of Thesis and Dissertation Competition (CTDSeg); Diego Kreutz (Unipampa) and Raul Ceretta Nunes (UFSM) - coordinators of the Tools; Jean Everson Martina (UFSC) and Emerson Ribeiro de Mello (IFSC) - coordinators of the Workshop of Digital Identity Management (WGID); and, finally, Rossana Maria de Castro Andrade (UFC) - coordinator of the Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Undergraduate Works (WTICG).
