Abstract

People and organizations have a need to review past events with the intention of reconstructing knowledge for several purposes. Group Storytelling is an important approach to knowledge retrieval and externalization through the collaborative construction of stories. However, in a Group Storytelling dynamic, past experiences show that it is not always easy to get the group committed. This paper aims to demonstrate that through computational mechanisms it is possible to increase the participation and contribution of the group. For this we’ve used the TellStory tool, that implements the GroupStorytelling approach, and the TellStory-Analyzer mechanism, that aims to make a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the stories and also to analyze the participation and contribution of those involved.
