The Proceedings of the 12th Workshop of Applied Computing for the Management of the Environment and Natural Resources (WCAMA 2021) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, on July 18 to 23, as part of the 41st Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2021) which had the theme "Innovation and Digital Transformation: Facing the Complexity and Uncertainties of the Contemporary World". In this issue, the proceedings include 17 full papers and 1 short paper. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process, from a total of 32 full papers and 6 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 53% and 17%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Marilton Sanchotene de Aguiar and Celia Ghedini Ralha, who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 04/16/2021, accepted for publication on 05/21/2021, with the final version submitted on 06/04/2021.
