System Digital Certificate Manager: A model for e-government

Abstract


This article proposes a model of digital certificate management systems for government public key infrastructure. The model defines independent modules that can be configured for efficiency, performance, redundancy and geographic distribution of functions and registers of certification authorities, in a scalable way, with centralized control and audit.
