Development of a Business Intelligence Dashboard for Monitoring Public Processes

Abstract

The use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools is essential to ensure the efficiency and quality of services in both public and private organizations. Public institutions face challenges with legacy systems that hinder the extraction of value from data. This work presents the development of a new dashboard for process monitoring at the Court of Auditors of the State of Pernambuco (TCE-PE), eliminating the dependency on multiple SQL views, optimizing data analysis, and improving usability and reliability. The solution centralizes data transformations within a BI tool, promoting greater flexibility and alignment with the institution’s strategic objectives.
