The Proceedings of the 14th Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB 2021) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, held from 22-26 November 2021. In this issue, the proceedings include 10 full papers and 5 short papers. These papers were selected from a total of 28 submissions. This volume was edited by Maria Emilia Machado Telles Walter (UnB, Brazil), Peter F. Stadler (Leipzig Univertität, Germany), Marcelo M.
