Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 17th Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Vitória/ES, Brazil, from December 2-4, 2024. In this issue, the proceedings include 20 full papers and 02 short papers. These papers were selected through a single-blind review, from a total of 33 full papers and 07 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 60.6% and 28.6%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Marcelo S. Reis (UNICAMP, Brazil) and Fabricio M. Lopes (UTFPR, Brazil), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 09/16/2024, accepted for publication on 10/17/2024, with the final version submitted on 10/27/2024.
