The Proceedings of the 26th Ibero-American Conference on Software Engineering (CIbSE 2023) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Montevideo, Uruguay, from April 24-28, 2023. In this issue, the proceedings include 18 papers accepted for the Main Conference and 06 papers selected for the Doctoral Symposium. These papers were selected through peer-review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Giovanni Giachetti (Universidad Andrés Bello, Chile/Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain) e Breno de França (UNICAMP, Brazil), who organized this volume. The papers that make up the Main Conference were submitted on 01/30/2023, and accepted for publication on 03/15/2023, with the final version submitted on 03/27/2023. The papers that are part of the Doctoral Symposium were submitted on 02/06/2023, and accepted for publication on 03/13/2023, with the final version submitted on 03/28/2023.
