Pampacare Ae Ae: An App for Dengue Management and Tracking
Abstract
Dengue is a disease transmitted by the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which, in some cases, can lead to human fatalities. This work presents the proposal and development of a mobile application aimed at digitizing the process of reporting dengue cases and mosquito breeding sites, carried out by endemic disease control agents, with a focus on usability and practicality. Some proposed features include: digitization of dengue case and mosquito breeding site reports, offline functionality, automatic address filling based on location, and reports generated from the entered data. With the completed application, it is believed that it can make processes more efficient and assist public authorities in decision-making for disease control.
