An Interoperable Solution to Support Collaborative Decision-Making in an Ontology-Based Environment
Abstract
This paper presents an interoperable solution to support Web applications development that supports decision making in a distributed computer environment based on service-oriented architecture. The solution establishes a model to design a knowledge base oriented ontology, and computer mechanisms to create, share and search knowledge bases. The paper still presents a case study developed as a system prototype to support clinical diagnosis decision, and expose some considerations about its integration to a Web environment that supports medical educational collaborative activities with multimedia communication tools.References
