The Proceedings of the 20th Brazilian Symposium on Games and Digital Entertainment (SBGames 2021) bring the papers selected and presented at the event, which was held as a virtual conference from October 18 to 21, 2021, as part of the 23rd Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR 2021) and 34th Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images (SIBGRAPI 2021). In this issue, the proceedings include 21 full papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Bruno Feijó (PUC-Rio), Esteban Clua (UFF), Maria das Graças Chagas (PUC-Rio), Delmar Galisi (Anhembi Morumbi), Marcelo Simão de Vasconcellos (FIOCRUZ), João Mattar (PUC-SP e Unisa), Daniela Karine Ramos (UFSC), Marcelo Luís Fardo (UCS), Bruna Santana Anastácio (UFSC), Andréia Formico (UNIFOR), Léo Pini Magalhães (UNICAMP), Rodrigo Santos (UNIRIO), Marcelo da Silva Hounsell (UDESC), and Isabel Cristina Siqueira da Silva (UFCSPA). The event was coordinated by Soraia Raupp Musse (PUCRS), Vinicius Cassol (UNIRITTER) e Rossana Queiroz (Unisinos). The proceedings were produced by Edirlei Soares de Lima (IADE - UE) e Hande Ayanoglu (IADE - UE).
