Dynamic Link Aggregation and Flow Redistribution in Hybrid SDN Networks

Abstract


This work proposes an innovative solution for dynamic link aggregation and adaptive traffic redistribution in hybrid SDN networks, named H-DLAFR (Hybrid Dynamic Link Aggregation and Flow Redistribution). The proposed model integrates SDN control mechanisms with traditional protocols, enabling automatic interface identification, dynamic link group formation, and real-time flow migration. Additionally, the H-LARP (Hybrid Load-Adaptive Redistribution Policy) is presented, responsible for adaptive flow redistribution and link self-recovery through automated RARP packet generation.
