Resumo

In the last decade, the topic of smart city has been researched, culminating in proposals that aim to improve the quality of life of the population. The design and construction of solutions that use geotechnologies is one of the possibilities found and can be strong allies in the development of cities. The purpose of this article is to present a systematic mapping of geotechnologies used in the context of smart cities. The focus is to identify which problems they solve, the specificities of their use, and which proposals were applied by the government. 37 studies have been analyzed that address the defined research questions. Among these studies, it was possible to see that solutions involving software are the most recurring. Through this mapping, it was observed that Geographic Information Systems are the most cited geotechnology in the analyzed publications and that there is still a lack of applications for proposals by the government.
