Crossmedia Architecture for Integrating Electronic Government Services

Abstract

The Brazilian government demands efforts on providing public service involving multiple means of communication, but these means are often used in a unilateral way. In this context, the collaborative support of various media (crossmedia) allows to expand and facilitate this interaction. Although government provides Demoiselle framework for standardization of government service, it does not include a crossmedia integration model for components and service. In order to reach this need the X-gov framework is presented, its architecture and level of agreement, according to standards for the interoperability of electronic government in Brazil (e-Ping), evaluating its applicability in the national context.
