Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 1st Workshop on Ethics and Regulation in Artificial Intelligence in Education (WER-IAEdu 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from November 24 to 28, in Curitiba/PR, Brazil, as part of the 14th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2025), which had the theme "Education in Transformation: Intelligences that Shape the Future". This edition of the proceedings includes 7 papers addressing aspects related to ethics and regulation of AI in Education. These papers were selected through an anonymous peer review process (double-blind review). The event's program committee was coordinated by Jéssica Figueiredo (UERN), Newarney Torrezão Costa (IF Goiano), Patricia A. Jaques Maillard (UFPR) and (UFRPE), Sean Siqueira (UNIRIO), and Williamson Silva (UFCA), who organized this volume together with Laura Moraes (UNIRIO), Douglas Krug (IFPR), and Rafael Araújo (UFU), publication coordinators for CBIE 2025. The articles that make up this series of proceedings were submitted on 08/13/2025, accepted for publication on 08/21/2025, and the final version was submitted on 08/31/2025.
