Abstract

The homecare is being driven because of the difficulties faced by health services. However, a patient may need care and constant monitoring, wearing well who cares. Such problems can be minimized by pervasive systems, since a pervasive system can monitor the patient and anticipate user needs, based on the current context of the environment. Therefore, it is necessary that the context of the environment is represented clearly and with the semantics of their well-defined entities. Aiming at this, this paper aims to model an ontology to represent an environment focused homecare to elderly patients with Alzheimer's disease.
