Abstract

Studies on the contributions of the Sensory Motor Skills (SMS), are essential to the medical training area. Considering experiences found in this particular context, this proposal will consist of an investigation that uses a process of Systematic Review (SR) to retrieve the state of the art in relation to methodologies for evaluate the skills acquisition. It was developes a revision of the existing literature, identifying metrics that are frequently used to evaluation strategies of acquisition of SMS both in Real Environments (RE) and Virtual Environments (VE). After identifying these metrics an analysis was developed to categorize them according to their similarities and application context. Lastly, the study reveals the possible metrics that will contribute to the creation and formulation of a new evaluation methodology of SMS for Virtual Reality environments (VR).
