The Companion Proceedings of the 40th Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Fortaleza/CE, from May 23-27, 2022. In this issue, the proceedings include the papers selected for the SBRC 2022 Demo Session, Dissertation Digest and Undergraduate and Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Graduation. These works were selected through a double-blind review. This volume was organized by Daniel Guidoni (UFOP) and Geraldo Pereira (UnB) - coordinators of the Demo Session; Thais Batista (UFRN) and Magnos Martinello (UFES) - coordinators of the Dissertation Digest; and finally, Lourenco Pereira Jr (ITA) and Rodolfo Meneguette (USP), coordinators of the Undergraduate and Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Graduation.
