Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 15th Workshop of Applied Computing for the Management of the Environment and Natural Resources (WCAMA 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Brasília, DF, Brazil, from July 21 to 25, 2024, as part of the 44th Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2024), whose theme was "Digital Desert: The Disconnected and Unseen World". In this issue, the proceedings include 20 full papers and 05 extended abstracts. These papers were selected through a double-blind review, from a total of 39 full papers and 10 extended abstracts submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 51,2% and 50%, respectively. This volume was organized by Danielo G. Gomes (UFC), the event chair, Elloá Barreto Guedes da Costa (UEA), and Danielli Araújo Lima (IFTM), the program committee chairs. The papers in this volume were submitted on 04/03/2024, accepted for publication on 05/10/2024, having the final version submitted on 05/27/2024.
