Camaleão: A Platform for Creating Adaptive Online Surveys

Abstract

Surveys are an important method for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) due to its easy application and the possibility of collecting large amounts of data, however, the adaptation of surveys to the respondent's context is still a limitation of online platforms. This paper presents the platform Camaleão, used to create online surveys with questions that can be adapted to the users' answers. The platform has a web interface for creating and deploying surveys and can support validation research of psychometric instruments or even usability and user experience (UX) tests where the evaluators have to consider specific topics of interaction.
