The control behind the screen: NetFlix Artificial Intelligence from the user’s perspective
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been widely used to enhance the user experience (UX) in many different systems around the world. Within this content, this article aims to analyze the AI used on Netflix to improve movies recommendation system, therefore to boost the UX. To reach the goal, we used evaluation resources from Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), such as a specialized usability inspection, UX evaluations, and usability with volunteer users. The results demonstrate that the blending of HCI evaluation techniques can contribute to identifying hedonic feelings of recommendations systems.
